Paris Hotels and Attractions

Paris is the city of life, love and light. From the Eiffel Tower to Mona Lisa, from the bustling Champs-Elysees to the winding streets of Montmarte, you'll find magic, romance and history. Sip a cafe au lait, take a stroll through manicured parks and watch the sun set over the river Seine.

Nightlife: The arty Marais and the rowdy Bastille are home to several bars, including the legendary Cafe Beauborg. Smart haunts are to be found in the chic 1st and 16th arrondissements. Parisian clubs around Champs-Elysees, including the famous Queens are the places to party hard. Parisian cabaret may be past its glory days, but the Moulin Rouge and Paradis Latin still offer enough glitz to go with your champagne.

Hotels: From sleek business pads to warm hotels de charme, Paris has the lot. On the Right Bank, choose a hotel near Champs-Elysees or Opera, while on the Left Bank try a place near Boulevard Saint-Germain or the Ile de la Cite. Business hotels cluster around La Defense and Porte Maillot, while smaller more intimate places are along the trendy Marais.

Restaurants: Enjoy a traditional Parisian brasserie decorated in Art Nouveau style or go for something more modern with a new generation of avant-garde chefs. The Marias is full of appetising little restaurants, while St-Michel offers inexpensive French food. Other dining hotspots are in Montemarte, Rue Tiuetonne and Rue Montorgeuil.

Shopping: Shopping in Paris is a total experience. Impeccable sales ladies will attend you in boutiques along Avenue Montaigne. Faubourg Saint-Honore is home to concept store Colette. Marais is a mix of kitsch and pret-a-porter, while Printemps and Galeries Lafayette are other notable shopping spots.

Sightseeing:- Paris is full of iconic landmarks, from the majestic Eiffel Tower to the elegant Sacre Coeur. The world's most famous painting, the Mona Lisa can be seen at the Musee du Louvre, and Impressionism can be experienced at Musee d'Orsay. Intriguing little museums, elegant parks and hidden courtyards are just waiting to be discovered, and the Latin Quarter's winding ruelles are the sweetest places to get lost in.
